I managed to kill my first White-wings ever west of Olney on the second day of season.

As for the weekend, the guy I work for had quite a few hunters both Saturday and Sunday.

One group of 12 hunters Saturday had 9 people limit out and the others all killed between 8 and 12 dove each.

A Father and Son team hunted anothe place and ended up woth more Collared Doves than Mourning Doves.

There are openings available for this next weekend.

The Father and son team came back by on their way home from Lubbock and the Tech game on Sunday and went to another of the places and got about a dozen birds each.

Friday & Saturday were real good & Sunday evening was so/so & Monday STUNK but there is a cold front due Friday or Saturday so that should bring more in PLUS fields are getting planted too.

Nice Pic. I'm like 1 for 5 shots, with 1 lost in the salt cedar. Went to Lamesa, and there was a plethera, but my position (between two tree lines) was not the best. Then I went to my lease out of Odonnell, and didn't get a shot off. 2 dove flew over but too far away. I did get shocked a few times since it rained and the wet branches made a good contact with the hot wire. I made a come back today for teal season.

I live in the central zone, Its opens tomorrow for the second season, actually today now Dec 26th, but as soon as I get back home from work I plan on giving it my best try. The first season I did ok but was to busy getting settled in the new house, did not get much field time.
