Water Trough and Feed Pen

Made some improvements to the feeder area including a pen and water trough here are a couple of pics.

Should we have done something different with it? I did not want to mount it on the fence, I wanted to keep it away from the hogs.

Was just thinking it is going to fill up with dirt and small animals. If it was elevated just a little, dirt would not get kicked in it. Just a thought.

I was trying to keep it away from the hogs and make it harder for a racoon to damage.
