Two success stories

Doe in the freezer

First, I took a nice doe on Monday the 29th. We have an over abundance of fawns this year and it's tough getting the right doe in range. Here is a link to the video I shot of the hunt.

Doe Video

Second my son put a buck down on Wednesday evening, Oct 1 that I've watched all year. He shot at him Sunday morning, the buck ducked the arrow and it ended up clipping his shoulder.

Wednesday evening he was standing 31 yards so my son puts the pin at the bottom of his chest anticipating the buck to duck. He didn't and the arrow sailed under the deer.

Matt has never missed a deer in his six seasons of bowhunting.

The buck comes back in at 25 yards and my son finally is able to put a fatal shot into him.
