Split brows and a Drop Tine!

Postby mudslinger » 09:30 pm Nov 07 2010

Not the biggest I have ever killed, but the one with the most character. Trail cam pics of this buck ffrom August and put him down Friday morning. Large bodied for our area. Field dressed at 152 #'s. No wonder I could not get him onto my 4 wheeler!
He had an accident while he was in velvet and poked something into his right main beam underneath his G3 and caused a rather large hole in the beam and also about a 4" drop tine. You can see him in velvet in the first pic and then a pic of him with me gloating behind him. This is my first to have split brow tines and a drop tine. The drop tine is what actually got him shot! He should look good on my wall in a wall pedestal mount with a left turn!
