Did you get rained on this weekend? I wanted to get down and check every thing out, but I did not want to deal with the wind and rain.

Only seen a doe that came in to my left at about 10 yards and sat there for about 10 minutes. Where I hunt, you have to have a does permit to hunt there which is insane. She was a pretty good size doe too. Other than that, didn't see anything else.

And now it's 2 doe & 1 buck.

We have been almost every weekend since opening day of bow season. We have seen plenty of deer, just not the right one yet. The bucks are starting to really show up down here in Garza County at the 5 Star Ranch. We hope to harvest "the one" in the next couple of weeks...we will be hunting hard!

PS....Rock on Bionic Hog!!!!

Hey Txpapa,

Yeah, it has taken me a year, but I am finally getting on LSHF. We would be honored to have you name your video after the mighty Slicknasty.

After taking the rifle buck last Saturday I'm going to get back after This Buck this weekend.

Cool thing is the rifle buck was in Grimes Co. and this buck is in Madison Co. two minutes away so I've still got a tag.
