hog trap kills

Postby helomech » 12:19 pm Jun 02 2010

Had my hog trap tied open for the week I was at work. Got off last night and checked the trap this morning. Found 4 pigs in it, they had busted the rope that holds the door open. Don't know when they did it, but they where still alive. Had 3 little ones and one big one. One of the little ones got away while I was shooting the others. Cleaned the two little ones and used the big one to test some bullets. Will post up some pics later of that.

I don't think they where in there very long. They would have died in a day or two with no water. Probably caught them last night.

That is the older female, she came home after about a week. The other 2 or still AWOL.

Dang, I wonder what happened to them. They were big dogs I don't think there are any predators around here that could have gotten them.

No we think someone grabbed them up when they where roaming around. They where not aggressive at all away from the house. Only when they where protecting the house where they aggressive.
