2009 Producing Awesome Bucks at the 5 Star Ranch

Postby Slicknasty » 10:51 pm Dec 01 2009

Well we finally got a great year for mature bucks in Garza County. Txpapa, Slicknasty Jr. and I have seen 5 or 6 Monsters, some great 11,10, and nine point deer and a lot of real good 3 1/2 year old eight points. I think everyone is seeing bigger deer this year, but we have been working hard on managing the herd....looks like it might be paying off. I hope everyone on the forum has a successful season. Good luck from all of us at the 5 Star Ranch.

Just came from way upstate NY and with it being so warm up there the deer did not wanna move till late night. So no luck for me. Maybe I will have better luck down here next year. Good luck to the rest of you.
