Thanksgiving weekend hunt 112909

Postby Mike » 06:56 pm Nov 30 2009

After driving to Amarillo and Seymour, Lindsey and I finally got to load up on Sun morning and went hunting. We got up at 4:30 and headed down to the lease. Sat in the blind most of the day and did not see a single deer. I think my feeder has not been feeding so I changed out the battery and it is running good now.

I dont know what Lindsey would do with out her iPhone while we are hunting.

4:30 was early so I took a little nap. Lindsey could not resist getting a pic of me dreaming about a big deer.

I got my newer 4 wheeler fixed last week so we did get to do a little ridding around the lease. I had to replace the CV joint boot that got torn somehow.

Hope you see a deer soon Mike. How well does the LED lights work in the deer blind??? That's a good ideal. I use them on the RV when we go to a NASCAR race.

The LED's work great. I use the red because everything I have read says that deer and other animals can not see red light. So when we are there when it is dark hopefully the animals can not see the light inside of the blind.

I need a phone with internet, would make the down time in the stand better.

I had to change 4 boots on my 4 wheeler so far. Not a bad job once you know how.
