I am heading up to Gruver, TX to hunt with a few buddies. My friend up there runs a 10,000 acre corporate farm. I am leaving out on Fri night and comming home on Sun. Hopefully we will run into a mule deer as well.

Anyone else heading up north for opening weekend of phesant season????????

Sounds like a great week end Mike good luck on that mule deer. I'm going to garza county after Jill's work Christmas party saturday night.

I'll be doing some "scouting" for the big hunt this weekend.

FYI, the weather today is awesome, but its hard to scout in an '05 Crown Vic.......finally got it out and back to the office, guess that's what I get for doing that on company time.

Slim LOL, crown vics are not great in mud.

No kidding, especially on oil field roads..... Dang ol deep ruts and all. I made it almost a mile. Took forever to drag it back out and steer in reverse.

LOL, driving a mile in reverse would suck.

Still up in the air for this weekend, if I go it will be close to Dumas.
