Got a story w/ this hunt???

Here's the short version: After a lung-bursting climb to the peak of Flat Top Mountain, I finally settled on a spot in an indention of a shinnery oak patch. Just after dawn I looked up to see four beautiful Mule Deer come over the crest of a nearby knoll...and they were staring right at me. They appeared so suddenly my bow was still resting on my legs. After several moments, they gradually, one by one, began to shift about, trying to decide which was to go. At one point, it appeared all were looking away from me and I began to slowly move my bow to a vertical position. With the slight movement one of the does jerked her hear around and alerted the others. I was frozen again, this time with my Hoyt stretched out half way up, and the staring contest began again. After a good part of forever, they began to move about again, and one of the does turned and went back over the hill from the direction they had arrived. The other two does looked after her, and the buck took a second and looked behind him, giving me the chance upright my bow and draw. The second and third does then went back over the hill and the buck started after them. He stopped for an instant, highlighted against the morning sky, and my 30 yard pin settled perfectly and the arrow released. The beautiful buck made 35 yards before expiring at the edge of a beautiful canyon. I waited 45 minutes before pursuing him, but he left an easy blood trail to follow. It was a perfect hunt with a beautiful ten-point trophy to show for it. I'm still pumped, a week later.

Good question. I didn't know either, but the taxi said he would have to inject it, all over, with some formula special prepared for the velvet ( I have no idea what it is). He wanted to make sure I wanted to maintain it in velvet before he began because is does add a bit to the cost.
