Got these pics on my new property, at first I thought it was the 8 point I had been seeing, but this on does not have the crab claw on its left antler.





And a few of my food plots 2 weeks after planting. I am going to get 3 lbs of chicory seeds tomorrow to put in the bare spots. 3lbs of chicory goes a long ways.

Thanks Papa. It is starting to come together. This will be my 4th hunting season here and it looks like it is getting better each year. I just can't wait to see how the protein I started feeding them helps.

Nice, what all you got planted in those spots?

Mostly oats, but also have wheat, field peas, crimson clover, forage rape, kale, purple top turnip, austrian peas, berseem clover, and mustard.

I just threw out some more seeds yesterday to cover the bare spots. I planted 3 more kinds of clover, and chicory. We have been getting a very light rain on and off since yesterday. It is perfect amount of rain, not enough to wash all the seeds away, but enough to get them to start sprouting.
