Guided Javelina hunt contest.

Postby Crazy Horse » 04:16 pm Jun 12 2009

I am going to offer a Javelina hunt for this next Spring to the members of this site.

I ain't figgered out what the contest will be, but I am working on it.

The prize will be a Guided Javelina Hunt, with predator and jack rabbit hunting included.

Meals/Lodging and transportation on the ranch during the hunt is included, for the winner of the contest.

A Non-Hunting companion/observer can be accommodated at $100.00 for the hunt period.

I will post more details as time goes along.

I am giving two of these hunts, one on this site, and one on the other site many of us are on.

The information posted here is also poted on the other site.

I am not sure what the contest will be yet, but it will be as fair as possible to everyone.

The hunt will take place in 2010 during my scheduled hunts in Pecos county.

If possible I will schedule the winners from each site to be there at the same time for their hunt.

Okay, here is the latest information on this topic.

I am still working on the contest, but it may end up being a membership drive contest, where a current member at a certain date, recruits the most new members between a specified set of starting and ending dates.

I have a couple of more things I have to put together before I run the plan in front of the PTB's and get their thoughts and comments.

The prize is going to be a 3 night / 2 day Guided Javelina hunt for 1 person.

Meals/Lodging/Transportation on the ranch during the hunt/Predator and Jack Rabbit hunting are all included.

A hunting companion can be accommodated at a reduced rate(not yet established) for the hunt period.

As stated earlier, a non-hunting companion/observer can be accommodated @ $100.00 for the hunt period.

Hunt will have to be scheduled during the time I am doing my hunts.

I will be in contact with the winner on setting that up.

Should the winner desire a second Javelina, the cost will be $100.00.

If the hunt is taken during Spring Turkey season, the hunter, if they choose to, can take a turkey for $200.00.

Winner will need to be flexible as to dates the hunt can be taken.

Also winner needs to be aware that it is a long way to Pecos county/Fort Stockton from nearly anywhere in Texas.

As I get things more glued together I will post the information.
