Got 2 hogs one last night and one this morning in my trap.

Shot this one last night at 250 yards with my 30-06 150 gr hornady SST's, he fell DRT. I tried to line 2 of them up, but the bullet did not pass through.

Here is the bullet I recovered, it weighed 150 grains before, and now weighs 89.9 grains. It did go through lots of bone, and was just under the skin on the exit side.

Here is the one I found in my hog trap this morning, he was heavy, and he bent the hooks on my scale and fell off, when he did the scale went flying and well not sure how accurate it is now. He was very heavy, and I had a hard time dragging him to the 4 wheeler. Well at least my trap held this time, it is the first hog I caught in my new trap. Oh I used a .357 mag to kill him.

Good job, I had to laugh at the last picture of the scale.
We dropped Mike's but it did not break.
We had to tinker with it to get it zeroed back in, but is fine.

I swear that scale went 20 feet in the air. I thought it was going to hit my youngest son. I will buy another one this week when I am at work.

Yeah, he got some decent cutters also. He has to be at least 250 lbs, maybe 300. He is the one that rearranged my hog trap. The dang door was tied open but he got stupid and broke the tie so the door closed. He managed to pull up a few of my T-posts and move 2 of the hog panels about 4 foot in the air. I got it all back in place and add another 10 T-posts and wired the hell out of it.
