Guardians of the Ribbon

Not long ago my Fire Dept. (Paducah Volunteer Fire Dept.) had the pleasure of being able to donate a Fire Truck to the Guardians of the Ribbon Texas Panhandle Chapter. The Guardians of the Ribbon takes these trucks and paints them Pink and drives them to whoever requests them for a fund raiser for someone in the community suffering from cancer. This truck is named for one of our Firefighters Mother who is suffering from stage 4 colon cancer. They will be bringing the truck here soon for Blanca to sign it. She will be the first of many cancer patients and survivors who will be signing the truck. The truck will be stationed in Vernon, Texas
