Has anyone had any success with hog calls?

We had a discussion about this on the TBGA site but none of the guys had any luck, some even said the pigs ran away at the sound of the call.
Maybe we are doing it wrong here. :oops:

Any suggestions?

I got one about two months back but i have not had time to use it .
I'll let you know soon if it works.

I have used a hog call before and never had any luck. I have been told that they will only scare away the hogs and not bring them in.
