He has a fortune in caliche! It sure does make for some good ranch roads when a place is like that.
I would water and fertile some of that mesquite and get at least a few up big enough to provide some shade.
Back to reality to people that have spent time in that area believe it is beautiful. It is pretty out in that area when you look at the overall area instead of dwelling on the vast area being so arid. I could deal with it but I would have to work on some of those mesquites.
