Pics of mounts/kills in the house.

Postby mudslinger » 05:35 pm May 08 2010

Here are pics of the mounts I already have in the house. All are bow kills, except for the geese and an 8 point WT in the living room above the TV on the upper left. I still do not have my Red Stag pedestal mount from 2008 back from the taxi or a being repaired full body mount bobcat carrying a dead quail (both bow kills and also at the taxi for a loooooooong time!) nor any of my African mounts back yet (due shortly from the taxi in Snyder, Bull Creek Taxidermy). One reason for enclosing my back patio is no more room for mounts!

Nice mounts! Did you take the Pheasant's with a bow? I have never seen someone do that except on TV!

If you do take one with a bow that would be really cool!

Most of those mounts that I had in the shop including the mountain lion were someone's else's. he was serving a 10 year federal sentence for drug charges and i was basically "storing them" for him and his wife until he got out.

Creative Critters is still open. they built a house out to the SW off 1585 i believe and put his shop in behing the house. I think he is listed out of Wolfforth, he is still in the phone book. I know about slow, he still has my Red Stag that I took to him in April of 06!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not seen the horns in 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Problem is My partner and I traded out some work for the mount on my stag and a mountain lion rug for him, so they will get ZERO money when the mounts are done, so hence they are in no hurry to get them done. It will be the last mount he will do for me. They are still good as anyone on the mounts, bu the wait is ridiculous!
