Looking at the moon, I think the best hunting is going to be mid day. I plan on being in stand between 10am and 4 pm.

Saw some does Saturday, was in the blind from 11am ubtil 2pm. Around 1pm had a group of 11 sand hill cranes circle the pond about 200 yards from me.

I hunted hard all weekend, saw a lot of does but no bucks at all. I killed a spike this afternoon hunting with my Dad at his place. Sleeping in tomorrow morning then will be back out there tomorrow afternoon.

I am not hunting in the morning either. Going to the honda dealer to see if my bumpers, and rear seat came in for my big red. Then going to the feed store in Grapeland around lunch to get some minnows from the fish wagon.
