moving to new mexico

Postby arkhunt777 » 06:52 am May 16 2009

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are moving from Louisiana to New Mexico. We hunt deer here and Arkansas. What's the best way to get to hunt in New Mexico.

Welcome to the LSHF.

If you are moving there to live permanently or for a few years at least, you quickest and best way to get factual info is to contact the New Mexico Game and Fish Department.

Here is the link to their website: www.wildlife.state.nm.us

This will give you real time information, such as how long you have to be a resident of the state to be eligible to purchase Resident hunting and fishing licenses.

Best of Luck with your move.
