Modest day of Teal hunting

Postby cezar » 11:44 pm Sep 11 2010

I could only go out for 1 1/2 hours this morning, so from 7 a. - to about 8:30 I was hunkered down between 2 salt cedars with no decoys. All the decoys were across the pond used by my other buddies. I didn't have time to walk down and meet them. So I used live decoys. There were a couple duck who swam by and I was still until a flock of Teal flew in. And that's how I got this one. Embarrassed to admit that I wasted 5 other shells, but I believe I shook the the cobwebs out for the season.

Heading back out, maybe tomorrow to hit some dove by the barn at the lease.
