Lindsey's first buck 01/02/11

Postby Mike » 09:08 pm Jan 02 2011

Lindsey and I went to the lease to get her a buck this weekend. We drove down yesterday 01/01/11 and stayed the night in the camper. This morning it was a very cold 8 degrees but luckly we have a little heater in the blind with us. At about 8:30 a few does walked up to the feeder and a few minutes later this yound buck showed up. His main beam was broke on his right and left sides.

She shot him with her .270 and he ran approximately 50 yards into the brush. We have lots of young six points so I was happy she could cull one.
