Luckily I was not sitting in that seat, that is where I usually sit, but the pilot was by himself on this flight. Getting hit in the chest with a owl at about 120 mph would suck.

Glad you weren't in that seat also. Bird strikes can be bad news for a helicopter. We get one about every three months or so. But it's on a 737.

did not here of that happening at all, yeah that would have sucked setting in that seat.

It happened a couple hitches ago, Gary was making a beach run and hit it.

I very interested to see what this post was going to be, glad the pilot was ok.
