Injured Deer

Postby TEXASLEFTY » 09:51 pm Nov 07 2010

Lost a doe over a fence yesterday. The land owner is unhappy with the owner of the land I was hunting on and would not give the Game Warden permission and would not answer the phone when my land owner called. It appeared to be a good shot it broke her front shoulder on her right side and I was aiming just behind her left shoulder. I would have shot her again but there were several deer close to her (after she was shot) and I did not want to injure another deer.

Hate to hear that. Sounds like you did everything thing you could, crazy how some landowners would rather it go to waste than let the GW go get it.
