Hunting with handguns a real challange!

Postby jrdnmllr on 09:55 pm Apr 29 2009

Well I have been hunting with handguns due to the lack of challange with rifles. It's a personal thing I just enjoy the hell out of it. I have had a great success with it as well. I use Glocks first off one accurate handgun I mainly use the 357 sig round and I have dropped hogs coyotes and deer as far as 100 yards out and traveling in a truck up to 40 shooting hogs. If u have not tried this u should bring more excitment to the hunt. My buddy has seen some shots u really could not believe possible but it is. Give it a try sometime enjoy and be safe!

Check out many of my posts in "pics of your kill" section, I agree that handgunning can be quite fun.

I have never tried hunting with a handgun. My first objective when hunting is usually meat so I prefer to gain any advantage possible. I would like to try it sometime although I think I would start with a scoped revolver.

Mike and I like to put as much lead down range as possible, gangster style, spray and pray. lol.gif

Ain't nothing better than one good kill shot, then opening up on the herd of hogs as they scatter.

old west gangster gunning

i used one of my grampa's 357 revolvers once to drop a 70 pound hawg. was a clean kill for the distance. and i did open up on the herd but that was mostly cause they were scattering my way.. it is fun though. i used a taurus judge once to take down some morning doves. now that is just plain fun.
