Got me a hog Sat pm. 1st shot was w/ a arrow he would not fall over so I got out of my bow blind and shot him @ 5 yards arrow #2.
He ran off so I put one in his butt @ 15 yards arrow # 3. Ok I'm out of arrows so I run back to my truck to get my 9mm I shoot 10 rounds @ him @ 10 yards only 1 shot hits him I'm purty scared at this time [ shaking & out of breath ] and only 1 hit.
OK out of arrows out of 9mm amo. I run back to the truck to get my .25 wssm I hit him 3 times finally the hog is down.

We ran into one like that about 3 yrs ago up in Haskell county...1 rifle shot, at least 6 9mm shots then 2 more rifle shots to put it down. BTW the rifle was a .308.

HA!

This was one ole nasty boar he had a couple bullet holes in his ear, rips, cuts scars, etc...STUNK!!!! This one as extremely tenderized...TO DEATH.

Oh the rifle was a .22-250

I took a shot with my .308 at a hog running. Got it right behind it's shoulder, the darn thing fell down, squealing legs and body flailing and as I was getting up to finish him he got up looked at me and took off. Not a drop of blood.
