helo, how well do those little solar lights work in the 1st picture?
I've been wanting to do some playing with them, but just can not seem to find the time. violin.gif

Not very well. I much rather the solar motion lights. Maybe if I hadn't bought the cheapest ones the expensive ones may work better. It gives enough light to tell something is directly under the feeder.

That's kinda what I was afraid of, thanks.
I'm gonna do some shopping around at Lowe's and Home Depot and see what I can find, probably looking for midrange pricing, but needed to know about those cheapo's.

I bought a solar powered motion light on Ebay that is great. It has 2 flood lights with 3 led's in each one. It is bright enough to shoot at 250 yards. It is the top one in this pic. The bottom one is from lowes and it sucks.

SWEET deal there, solar you say? So no need for electricity?
How much, If I may?
Brand? wattage? any specifics so I can start a search would be greatly appreciated.

I think I paid a little less than this, but it was the first auction I found on ebay for it. Yes, it comes with a solar panel, and it works good.

Great, I would stay away from the bottom one in my pic for lowes. That is my second one and they both would go on and off while things are eating. Just when I was ready to shoot the light would go off. So I bought the top one and have been very happy. It works like it is supposed to.

Do the hogs act like they can see it?
Just wondered how long it took them to get used to it if they can?
I don't think they can see the red LED's, but wondered about the white.

It doesn't seem to bother the hogs are the deer. They will sit there and eat even when the one from lowes is going on and off. No doubt they can see it, but I had hogs eating under it just a couple days after I put it up.
