Annual Dove Hunter's Festival September 5th - Coleman

Jody Barr, with the Coleman County Wildlife Committee, has announced that the Annual Dove Hunter's Festival will be held Saturday, September 5, 2009.

The event will be held from 10 30 am to 1 30 pm and will be at the Bill Franklin Center. An all-you-can-eat Catfish lunch will be served for $10 per person, $5.00 for 12-and-under, and will be free to active military. The $10 meal ticket is entry for all door prize drawings. Giveaways will include: six over/under shotguns, hunts, and other great general prizes.

The committee asks landowners to encourage your hunters to come and participate. All residents of the county are invited to attend. "Come one, come all!"

More information and photos of the door prizes will be posted on the "Hunting and Fishing" page later on http://colemannews.com/ .

Well that's understandable, big drive for you anyway. Lots of good stuff going to be given away. I saw 1 of the 6 over & unders.....NICE!!!! At least they are doing it in the MIDDLE of the day so that no one should miss any hunting lol.
