Finally got it filled with water, and plan on making my first cuts this week.

Thinking it will look something like this.

I got the valve assembly off just a few minutes ago. I got a pipe wrench on it and used the bucket on my tractor to pull the pipe wrench. It tried to drag my tractor with the brake set, and a 600lb cutter on the back sitting on the ground. Wow that thing was stuck on there. I feel much better about cutting it now. banana.gif

I hope you are going to build it on a trailer! It looks like it is going to be huge.

I am thinking skids for now. I don't have a trailer, and my first trailer is going to be used for hauling things. I can move it around the yard with the bucket on the tractor if needed.

Cool, I will look in the peddler also. Going to have to be fairly heavy duty, I think this thing is going to be heavy when I am done.

Thanks

Got some cuts made on my smoker. Got a brush pile on it right now and will be burning it as soon as it gets a little dark.

Oughta be safe to cut now. Find you an old boat trailer, light, easily modifiable and fairly cheap.

Yeah, it should be safe to cut. The fire got the whole thing nice and black, and there are some coals inside of it. No worries now.

A boat trailer is the way to go for sure. The problem will be where to bury the boat that comes on the trailer.

Because from what I have read propane gets into the pores in the metal, and when you cut it sometimes flashes. Even after it has been filled with water.

To be honest I have not done a dang thing to it since those pics. Things have been to hectic, and I need to buy a cutting torch.
