I had worked very hard thru the summer to get a place set up for my Nephew to hunt. The rains we got about a month ago changed the patterns of the deer completely. We had to go to plan B. We set up in a very heavily wooded area where several deer trails crossed and backed up to a large wheat field. The only deer we saw all day was this buck.



We hunted through out the day and last night with out seeing another deer except for some tails running away. Here are some picks of him working on the Buck.





We hunted a different wheat field this morning and spooked a herd of does Before LST. So we sat in the same area this evening and he shot a doe.

Sweet, 2 kills in one weekend. And that is a great buck.
